Twisted I picked this for my January First Read because the book listed as a thriller sounded too gruesome, although generally I would have chosen that one. What a surprise- this book is a mystery thriller. It's a very convoluted story, exciting and with unexpected twists- kept me guessing all the way to the end. I will not inject spoilers into my review, it has highly entertaining characters, and quite a complex plot.I will definitely read more by this author, this was a very surprising, very good book.Adult thriller that will keep you reading all the way to the unsatisfying ending. I was very involved with this mystery, reading it pretty much straight through. It had a decent writing style, and interesting characters. The plot was quite involved, and the story had some intriguing twists.I wish that I could have liked the Heroine more than I did. But then again, I'm sure the lack of depth on that character was deliberate. I enjoyed the book--up until the ending. If you can call it an ending. I felt rather cheated after I'd invested my time to read it. I may be in the minority with just an "OK" rating, but I definitely felt unsatisfied. If there's a sequel, I doubt that I'll read it--as I prefer books that end with more resolution.Terrible... I’ll give the book one star bc it is a decent read in terms of pace and intrigue. It kept me interested despite many eye-rolling moments. That said, when you add it all up, along with an absolutely, mind-bogglingly, idiotic ending, I walked away wishing I hadn’t invested the minimal time it took to read this book. As with many of the Kindle First offerings, this was disappointing to say the least. I’m just glad I didn’t lose my money along with my time. Consider yourself warned.

His wriitng is very easy to read and he communicate in every day language. This book was life changing! Poor production quality. I don’t know whether the story is any good or not but the book quality is terrible.I opened it for the first time and it fell apart .Chucked it in the bin.So disappointed.Fantastic read I’ve read a ton of true crime books over the years about drug traffickers and crime for profit. This one ranks among the best.Like Raymond Reddington from BlackList, But Le Roux loves nobody. Great reading. I got it on Kindle. The character breakdown of Paul Le Roux is fascinating. I believe his motivation was to become the next Godfather or Pablo Escobar, Dipping his fingers into anything illegal that he could. From fathering the opioid crisis in the US, to running meth into China from North Korea, to selling missile technology to Iran.This book even goes into the characters of the Private Military Contractors that Le Roux hired to kill anyone that may have stolen from him.

interesting and fun This was a required textbook for my art class. It is easy to read and really explains the different concepts of art. I Mary half way thru bit and have actually learned a lot. My daughter enjoys looking thru it and seeing what mommy is learning as well.... I will be keeping this one and not selling it back at the end of the semester.Missing pages! Ordered this book for rental, arrived in decent condition. Sat down to take a test and realized pages are missing from the very first unit. Very crucial pages of art work that I was quizzed upon and needed to have been able to see.Extremely unhappy at this moment. I will not be ordering rented books again, for they cannot guarantee I’m getting what I paid for.I will say, this is a fine author and well organized textbook. This is in no way reflective of the authors.Excellent textbook Learned a lot about art. Required textbook for art appreciation. Goes into details about styles, materials, and history. I really enjoyed learning more in depth about featured pieces of work and their artists.
