And worse, why did he deny being there, or even being in the CIA?The difference in the two break-ins is that exactly 45 years later, ironically, the burglars who pulled off a daring attack in June 2016, were not members of an opposing American political party, but of a foreign country, Russian cyber thugs to be exact, safely ensconced in cyber space somewhere most probably behind the ex-Iron Curtain. And although their mission this time was the same as the one carried out in 1972, to collect all the dirt they could from the vaults of both political parties. And, this they did do: They did indeed empty the vaults of both political parties, and electronically hauled the entire take back to the Kremlin. Putin literally had enough “Kompromat” to bring down both sides, and the American Empire with it, if he had chosen to do so.However, as US counter-cyber experts would discover, Putin had better things on his mind. They noticed something very odd about the fingerprints left by those hacking the DNC. Surgical cuts had been made only around files labeled “opposition research on Donald Trump.” Everything else was left untouched? The Russian hackers had not taken everything — just exactly what they needed: files that could be used to control Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton?Thus, it is an understatement to say that Vladimir Putin was in an enviable geopolitical position: All Russian intelligence needed to do now was chose which side it would expose and which it would blackmail. Either way Putin sat in the cat bird seat, “playing” American politicians like a bass fiddle, to the maximum effect of Russian interests.Either way, Putin now had dual levers that he could used against both sides to manipulate and undermine his foremost enemy, the exceptionally racist, and heavily armed Idiocracy called the American Empire.Since Vladimir Putin hated Hillary Clinton with a passion, and had long since compromised “Team Trump,” choosing which side to expose and which to blackmail, was a “no brainer.”Since as far back as 1987, Russian intelligence had already been “wooing,” “grooming,” (and possibly even “sheep-dipping”) Donald John Trump, and a virtual gallery of his closest aides, some of whom had obviously become either witting or unwitting spies, or simply unwitting “agents of influence.”So Putin elected to expose his hated enemy Hillary and the DNC, and take control over Trump via blackmail along with the RNC, via “Kompromat” — based on previous cultivation as well as the opposition research stolen from the DNC’s safe.There is tons of evidence under a Russian “active measures” operational plan called “Lucky-7,” suggesting that Mr. Trump is still being carefully manipulated as “blackmail bait” as a result of being entangled in Russian-backed money-laundering and real estate loan schemes (that is, in “money laundering traps), as well as possibly even in sex “honey trap” schemes involving teenaged girls, in addition to having colluded to win the presidency.According to former KGB officer, Yuri Bezmenov, the KGB playbook called for “making intelligence assets” out of “useful idiots.” That is to say, out of American politicians who are further characterized as “greedy, egomaniacal, who lack moral principles, and who suffer from exaggerated self-importance?” It helps too if they have profoundly racist and sexist attitudes, as well as are in debt for billion of dollars to strategically placed Russian businessmen — who also just happen to have Kremlin intelligence connections.If you leave out the criterion of being a heavily indebted billionaire, nearly all of the Republican politicians and half the democrats would fit Bezmenov’s recruitment criteria. However there is only one American politician on either side of the political divide, whose vulnerabilities also include being in debt to Russians to the tune of billion of dollars. The criterion of being in debt, identifies Trump about as uniquely as the photograph in 1963 identified Bush I.Here the reader can see clearly that the author, Malcolm Nance has shown us how Vladimir Putin now has the Crown Jewels of all of America’s raucously dirty politics in his hands: the dirt on the respective political candidates. And thus, it is no longer either just theoretical, a conspiracy theory, as it were, or just a laughing matter that Vladimir Putin effectively has political control over our embarrassingly shallow, racist and mean-spirited national electoral process.By exposing Hillary’s tactics against Bernie Sanders, while at the same time holding blackmail material over the RNC and Trump’s head, Putin made Trump his “Presidential Bitch,” and sent Hillary trucking home to retire in her gramma rocking chair, proving that he still has an infinite ability to manipulate our shallow political system to fit his devious desires when and where he wants to do so.The sickest part of this scenario is left unsaid: It is that our mean-spirited racist politics, leaves us vulnerable to manipulation by any two-bit racist demagogue, and to any one who has the interest to control such demagogues whether the interest in question is that of another country or just sinister special interest within our own borders.This always pregnant subtext of all American politics is just waiting to be further exploited by any foreign intelligence service for evil purposes.If the Russian hacking of our political system has shown us anything, it is how easy it was for Putin to pick the low hanging demagogic fruit that Donald John Trump represented: an incendiary spark plug waiting to be ignited in the bitter ideological war between the two parties on so called “cultural issues” — which decoded, only mean racism in all its manifold forms.Stay tune, for over the next four years there surely will be much more to come.How Sad!
